These beautifully organic mugs evoke a true sense of the term hand crafted. Put through several layers of kiln firing, the 'reactive' nature of this glaze style ensures that each mug reacts in the kiln slightly differently, offering a sense of uniqueness to every piece.

The kiln firing really shows in the finish — the glaze has these uneven, almost wave-like patches that catch the light differently every time I turn it. It's heavier than I expected, which makes it feel properly solid in my hands.
The duck egg glaze has this lovely depth that makes it feel like a genuine one-off piece, not something mass-produced. The layers of kiln firing really show in the subtle variations around the rim, and it’s comfortable to hold for morning coffee.
The color shifts depending on the light—sometimes pale blue, sometimes soft green—and the surface feels almost velvety to the touch. I’ve washed it a few times now and the reactive glaze hasn’t dulled any, still looks like a tiny piece of art on my desk.
