The cherry pieces are surprisingly juicy and cut through the dark chocolate's deep richness perfectly, making each bite taste just like the real cake. I ate half the bar in one sitting while watching a movie, and it hit that dessert craving without feeling too heavy.
The cherry-to-chocolate ratio is spot on—that deep dark cake flavor really lets the fruit shine through without getting too sweet. I've been vegan for years and this is the closest I've come to the real Black Forest experience, even the creamy layers feel indulgent.
I wasn't expecting the whipped cream note to come through in a vegan bar, but it absolutely does—it's rich and creamy without being heavy. The dark chocolate hits first, then the cherry comes in just enough to keep it from being too bitter. Finished the whole bar in one sitting.
